Welcome to the Open Road Radio
Open Road Radio Presented By National Cycle

Conceived, co-created and co-produced by on-air personality Gina Woods, OPEN ROAD RADIO (ORR), was the first and is the most successful talk radio show to focus exclusively on the history, passions, evolution and culture of motorcycling. ORR debuted on January 2, 1997, and includes segments regarding riding destinations, product information, legislation, rallies and charitable events all over the United States, Europe, Asia and Africa.
ORR combines entertainment, education and information into an all-too-short hour of weekly programming which is broadcast on 9 FM:92.5, 92.7 & 99.9 Sunday from 11 AM to 12 PM CDT. Celebrity guests on the show have included Jay Leno, Willie G. Davidson, Biker Billy, Brancombe Richmond, Sandra Bernhard and many others. ORR broadcasts, up-to-the-minute race results from around the world. The hosts have conducted interviews with champion racers Angel Seling and Cindi Hahn. ORR listeners are informed about current industry-related news from the AMA-American Motorcycle Association, MIC-Motorcycle Industry Council, and ABATE, an organization devoted to motorcycle right.
The hosts, guests and listeners engage in lively discussions about upcoming legislation and other issues pertaining to motorcycle rights and safety; all things of interest to the “average Joe,” or affluent new age motorcyclist. Live call-ins make the show spontaneous and unpredictable. ORR has been part of the most significant motorcycling events in America, including live broadcasts from Daytona Bike Week, The LA Love Ride, The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, The Laconia Rally, Race Week and the AMA Women in Motorcycling Conference.
Under Ms. Woods direction, ORR received the MVP (Most Valuable Program) award in 2000 from the American Motorcyclist Association in recognition of ORR’s valuable contribution to the sport of motorcycling. Celebrating 10 years on air, ORR broadcasts throughout middle America and streams globally.
By targeting to motorcycle enthusiasts and the motorcycle industry, ORR attracts promotional event planners, manufacturers, industry leaders, trade publications and trade show marketers; and as such has proved to be a successful avenue for businesses and companies to promote their products and services.
For a decade Gina Woods has served as an ambassador of the extremely charitable motorcycle culture. ORR has enhanced and served that ethic as an active participant in community events. Indeed, ORR has been the recipient of numerous awards from leading charities and other organizations including Toys for Tots/Marine Corps, Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, MDA, March of Dimes, and American Cancer Society.
